She has been involved in litigation on behalf of foreign and domestic clients both individuals and businesses and in an array of commercial litigation and personal injury suits.
Currently, Abby is actively involved in litigation on behalf of the firm’s clients in a wide variety matters. She has successfully obtained verdicts and summary judgments for a broad range of clients in a full spectrum of cases, and served as lead trial counsel for a variety of individuals and companies. She has tried cases before juries, judges and administrative agency judges, examiners and panels. Prior to founding FrancisMathews PLLC, Abby was an equity partner at Hartline, Dacus, Barger, Dreyer and Kern, L.L.P. located in Dallas, Texas. Abby spends every Saturday during football season cheering on the Fightin' Texas Aggies as they BTHO another team or "run out of time". Her Fightin' Texas Aggie spirit drives her to zealously fight for her clients. She also volunteers her time to help with the Texas High School Mock Trial program and has had the honor of coaching 4 Texas State Championship Teams (2010, 2021, 2022 & 2024), several Dallas ISD Championship Teams, 3 Texas State Top Advocates, 2 Texas State Top Witnesses, 2 National High School Championship Top 10 Attorneys and 1 National High School Championship Top 10 Witness. In 2024 and 2022 her Texas Championship Team also placed in the Top 5 at the National High School Mock Trial Championship (2nd in 2024). EDUCATION
