From September - January Mike's Saturdays, when not working, are devoted to rooting on his Longhorns in their bid for another National Championship. Although raised in Texas, Mike is a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan and considers Bart Starr to be one of his heroes.

Mike is a trial attorney whose practice includes a broad range of commercial litigation matters. He has experience with cases involving construction defects, contract disputes, liens, bond claims, consumer law, debt collection, real estate disputes and business torts in both state and federal courts throughout the United States. Mike also has an extensive insurance background and has handled a wide variety of insurance related disputes for his residential and commercial construction clients. 

Mike represents home builders, owners, general contractors and subcontractors as well as  individuals in a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, property and lease disputes, consumer protection lawsuits and catastrophic personal injury actions. He also has an extensive background in insurance and has assisted clients with insurance coverage disputes.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

• Mike successfully obtained a 2.7 million dollar judgment on behalf of a Real Estate Investment Trust in complex multiparty breach of commercial lease suit.
• Mike successfully represented a commercial developer in Texas State District Court in an action against a Texas Municipality by securing a beneficial settlement for the client on the eve of trial.
• Mike successfully represented a residential builder in an action against a municipal zoning board by obtaining variances that saved several newly constructed homes.
• Mike successfully defended a national home builder in a multi-plaintiff complex multi-million dollar real estate dispute by obtaining a “take nothing” judgment and an award of attorney's fees.
